Warranty

Warranty

All air conditioning equipment supplied by Air Cooling London is covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty periods and specific requirements may vary depending on the brand and product purchased. Please contact us if you would like to confirm the warranty period for a particular product before ordering.

Professional Installation Required

Split air conditioning systems containing refrigerant must be installed and commissioned by a suitably qualified F-Gas professional in accordance with applicable UK requirements.

Where equipment is purchased on a supply-only basis, it is the customer's responsibility to arrange installation by a suitably qualified and, where required, certified F-Gas installer.

Proof of professional installation and commissioning may be required when making a warranty claim.

Installation by an unqualified person, incorrect installation, commissioning or use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions may affect the manufacturer's warranty where the fault or damage is related to the installation.

Need Help With Installation?

If you are purchasing equipment but do not already have an installer, please contact us.

We can help you arrange or find a suitable qualified installer for your air conditioning system, subject to location and availability.

Contact us before or after purchasing your equipment and we will advise you on the available installation options.

What Is Not Normally Covered?

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover faults or damage caused by:

  • Incorrect or improper installation
  • Installation by an unqualified person where professional certification is required
  • Failure to follow the manufacturer's installation or operating instructions
  • Accidental or physical damage
  • Misuse, neglect or unauthorised modification
  • Incorrect electrical supply or external electrical faults
  • Lack of required maintenance
  • Damage caused by external factors outside the equipment itself

The exact exclusions depend on the manufacturer's warranty applicable to your product.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your air conditioner has developed a fault, please contact us before arranging any repair or replacement.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Product model and serial number
  • Description of the problem
  • Photographs or videos where relevant
  • Installation and commissioning details
  • F-Gas installer details or installation documentation where applicable

We will review the information and advise you on the next steps.

Depending on the product and nature of the fault, additional troubleshooting or inspection may be required.

Your Statutory Rights

Any manufacturer's or commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.

Nothing in this warranty information excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable UK consumer law.
